In the Belt and Road cooperation over the past decade, the world has gone through dramatic changes, but China's initiatives and schemes have been clear. Through news, books and exchanges, people around the world have got to know their Chinese friend—President Xi Jinping. Today, let’s follow President Xi’s steps to make more friends, looking into how residents along the Belt and Road have eventually become close friends.

Let’s joint hands for our dreams and a shared future. "I proposed the Belt and Road Initiative to put into practice the idea of a community with a shared future for mankind," said President Xi. The Belt and Road cooperation has been robust and fruitful in its first decade. Now China and the BRI friends are embarking on the next golden decade.

The international passenger trains on the China-Laos Railway have cut the Kunming-Vientiane trip to one day, boosting employment and improving people's livelihoods alongside.
Kunming Railway Vocational and Technical College joined hands with Laos Railway Vocational and Technical College in cultivating talents for Lao socioeconomic development.
In Laos, we met with an old schoolmate of President Xi. He is also a witness, inheritor and driver of the China-Laos friendship.
